What are your career goals?

Provide excellent care to patients and constantly learning the advancements in the veterinary field, especially in internal medicine and fear free approach.

What's the most inspiring part of your job?

Making a difference in the life of a pet, help their parents understand a condition that their pet is going through and work with people that share the same passion for animals.

When you were a child, what career aspirations did you have?

As a child I wanted to become a teacher, a zoo keeper or a veterinarian when I grew up. I love to learn and share knowledge, during school I had amazing teachers that inspired me. I grew up surrounded by different types of animals as I spend part of my childhood in Pucallpa, a city in the rain forest and I also spend lots of time at my grandma’s farm where I grew my compassion and interest for animal health.

If you were a Flower, would you be and why?

I would be an Otter as I love to swim and eat seafood. I am naturally curious and also enjoy the company of my love ones.

What is your background and experience?

The last 5 years I got experience in various areas related to animal care such as laboratory, small animal clinic, public health and pet boarding, being small animal clinic the area the won my major interest

Where would we find you (when not working) on a sunny Okanagan day?

On a sunny day in Okanagan you would find me riding my bike or paddling at Kalamalka Lake.
