What are your career goals?

My goal is to continue growing my skills in veterinary medicine, learn as much as I can from the amazing people around me, and make a positive difference in the lives of both pets and their owners every day.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

Seeing the difference we can make for our patients and their families. Whether it’s helping a sick pet feel better, supporting owners through difficult decisions, or celebrating a successful recovery, it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of those moments.

What was your childhood dream job/career?

Anything that involved animals. I was the kid who rescued bugs (including spiders), befriended barn cats, and tried to convince my family we needed “just one more pet.”

If you were an animal what would you be and why?

Probably a raccoon — a little chaotic, curious about everything, snack motivated, and somehow always getting into something.

What is your background and experience?

I’ve always had a passion for animals and animal medicine. I’ve spent a lot of time working with shelter animals and pets that are nervous, fearful, or need a little extra patience.

Where would we find you (when not working) on a sunny Okanagan day?

You’ll probably find me in the sun with a good book, camping, going for a drive with music while I’m convincing myself I need another ‘sweet treat’.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

Come ready to learn, ask questions, and support your teammates. A positive attitude, compassion for both people and animals, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed will take you a long way!
